Watch TRACES 2020

What is TRACES? Traces began in 2016, when Vermont Dance Alliance member Alison Mott brought the idea for an outdoor dance parade to VDA's Executive Director Hanna Satterlee. This idea turned into a day -long festival of outdoor dance happenings throughout downtown Burlington, featuring outdoor performances from dance artists of all genres and styles from throughout the state of Vermont. This is our fourth year celebrating TRACES, with a Virtual Performance! This year 30 dance artists worked together to create a film to celebrate dance in Vermont!   Featuring dancers:  Alexis Kamitses, Alex Prussin, Alison Mott, Anne Orellana Whitney, Arica Bronz, Ashley Hensel-Browning, Avi Waring, Brandy Perez, Bronwyn L Sims, Cat McDougal, Chris Widlund, Cyndal Ellis, Danielle Tekut, Donna Steinberg, Elizabeth Mahnker, Emily Mott, Erica Anne Raff, Hanna Satterlee, Hannah Rohloff + Antonia Mazzilli, Haley Bradstreet, Isadora Snapp, Jenna Giguere, Jessie Owens, Julie Frew, Julie Opiel, Joy Madden, Lydia Frew, Nicole Dagesse, Mireya Guerra & Sarah Rose! Special thanks to our 2020 Sponsors: Northfield Savings Bank and Lines Vermont! And a HUGE thank you to our Video Producer: Aaron Barton of Extensity Creative! VDA would like all TRACES donations to support The Black Freedom Fund, organized by VDA member Christal Brown! Join in supporting the joy of Black artists, businesses, individuals and families.
